Terms of Use, withdrawal and cancellation

1. Provider

2. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to BriNora Explore and to paid BriNora Practice and Master memberships. BriNora is available only to people aged 18 and over.

3. The service

BriNora is a digital wellbeing and reflection service for adults. You can choose one of six places, read Mini Reflections, explore suggested pairings and use optional settings for your current visit.

BriNora is not a medical device, a German digital health application (DiGA), therapy, psychological counselling, medical care or an emergency service. BriNora does not diagnose, treat, cure or monitor any illness, condition or symptom.

In immediate danger or any medical, mental health or other emergency, seek professional help at once — in particular by calling 112 or using an appropriate local service.

4. Who may use BriNora

You must be at least 18 years old. Minors may not use BriNora. If you create an account, subscribe to or manage a paid membership, you must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

5. Entering into a contract

Guest use begins when you open and use BriNora; without an account it includes browsing all content and one free starter session. Creating a free account forms an agreement for the free account service under these terms and enables the free Explore membership with one complete session per day. A paid Practice or Master membership requires a BriNora account and is formed when you select a plan, enter the required payment information and expressly confirm the payment obligation in Stripe Checkout.

Before subscribing, you will be shown the price, term, essential features and cancellation conditions.

6. Explore, Practice and Master

Explore is free and includes one complete session per day, all six states, all available session lengths and the core multisensory experience. Practice includes everything in Explore plus unlimited sessions, the full Paths library, Microlearning after sessions, the Weekly State Review, Favorites, Offline Mode, N-of-1 personalization and optional notification routines for weekly learning and contextual suggestions based on local time, manually selected weather and season.

Master includes everything in Practice plus Nora AI with State Modes, the Voice Journal, optional wearable-data import, optional HRV, sleep and activity signals, advanced analysis and trends, contextual Path, session and mini-learning suggestions, seasonal rituals, optional wearable-signal notifications, Priority Support and Early Access. Optional personal or wearable data is used only when the corresponding feature is actively enabled and any required consent has been given. No membership includes medical, therapeutic, psychological or emergency services.

7. Prices and payment

Explore: €0.00. Practice monthly: €4.99 per month. Practice yearly: €35.99 per year. Master monthly: €7.99 per month. Master yearly: €59.99 per year.

Early Bird launch prices are offered to a limited number of members while places remain: Practice Early Bird €2.99 per month or €23.99 per year; Master Early Bird €5.99 per month or €47.99 per year. Early Bird prices have no free trial. Once the Early Bird places are taken, only the regular prices above are available. An Early Bird price agreed at sign-up continues to apply to that subscription for as long as it remains active.

All prices are final. Under section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), VAT is not charged. Payment is handled by the payment provider shown during checkout.

8. Trial, term and renewal

A new Practice membership begins with a 7-day trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, billing for your selected Practice plan begins automatically afterwards. Master has no free trial and is billed when the paid order is completed.

Monthly subscriptions run for one month at a time and renew automatically for another month unless cancelled before the current period ends. Yearly subscriptions run for one year at a time and renew automatically for another year unless cancelled before the current period ends.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel a paid Practice or Master membership at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

After signing in, you can cancel in the cancellation section of the Membership page. The opening button is labelled “Cancel subscription” and the final button “Confirm cancellation”. We confirm receipt of your cancellation electronically.

Your right to terminate for good cause without notice remains unaffected.

10. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The withdrawal information below forms part of these terms.

11. Refunds

If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, payments are refunded in full in accordance with the withdrawal information below.

After the withdrawal period has expired, there is no right to a partial refund for a billing period already paid, unless the law requires otherwise or BriNora voluntarily issues a refund.

12. Availability and changes

BriNora aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. BriNora may change, develop or remove features where this is reasonable for users and does not disproportionately affect essential contractual obligations.

13. Rules of use

You may not use BriNora unlawfully, abusively or in a way that puts another person at risk. You may not copy or manipulate BriNora, access it through automated extraction, circumvent security controls or infringe BriNora's content or rights.

Your account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer or share it, use another person's account without permission, or attempt to obtain access to another user's profile or subscription.

14. Rights in BriNora

All rights in BriNora — including its software, design, text, brands, concepts and content — remain with BriNora or the relevant rights holders. You receive only a limited, non-transferable right to use BriNora under these terms.

15. Privacy

The Privacy Notice explains how personal data is processed. BriNora may process a voluntary place selection only after separate, explicit consent.

16. Liability

BriNora has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it. In cases of ordinary negligence, BriNora is liable only for a breach of an essential contractual obligation and only for damage that was foreseeable and typical for the contract.

BriNora is not responsible for medical, therapeutic, psychological or emergency-related decisions that users make for themselves.

17. Statutory rights

Statutory consumer rights, statutory rights concerning defects and other mandatory claims remain unaffected.

18. Dispute resolution

BriNora is neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board unless a legal obligation applies.

19. Governing law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in the country where a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

20. Changes to these terms

BriNora may change these terms for an objective reason, including a legal, technical or product-related change. We will tell you about material changes in good time. Existing cancellation rights remain unaffected.

You may ask us to close your BriNora account at any time. Closing an account does not by itself remove statutory billing records and does not shorten an active paid term; cancel an active paid membership first or ask support to handle both requests together.

Withdrawal information

Consumers have the following right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us — Adnan Nadif, BriNora, Spandauer Str. 4, 10178 Berlin, Germany, email: info@brinora.de, telephone: +49 1556 888 123 — of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not required.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you asked for the digital service to begin during the withdrawal period and withdraw within that period, BriNora voluntarily provides a full refund of the amount paid unless mandatory law requires a different outcome.

Opening button: “Cancel subscription”. Final confirmation button: “Confirm cancellation”. We confirm the cancellation electronically. It takes effect at the earliest permissible date unless another valid cancellation date has been specified.
